My critque on the officail Space Jam website from 1996(yeah, it still exist, and no, it's not on the Wayback Machine
Yes. Space Jam. That oh so 1990s sports movie guest starring the Looney Tunes. It had an actual website in 1996, and for some reason it's still on the internet. Warner Bros. has never taken it down. I suppose this must the sole reason of why they're currently having money problems.
The pros of this website's design
- It is at least functional. You click the links and it takes you to a different page. Among the pages is one that showcases the films orginal trailer, which you have to download before view. Ah...life before youtube.
- It's easy to understand at least. Anyone can look at this site and instanly understand how it's supposed to work. It's not confusing at all. So it does have that going for it.
- This might sound like an admission of my own skills, but at I think the programer who made this website has better skills at making a site than me.
The cons of this website's design
- This website's look is very outdated. No one today would look at this website and take it very seriously.
- Why does this website still exist? Like, why? Spacejam came and went 26 years ago. This site did it's job, and now it just looks like some relic from the past. Warner Bros., I know your having some serious money problems, but put it out of it's misery already. It did it's job.
